Almond oil is extracted from the almonds that have not yet ripened. It is rich in Vitamin E, Potassium, Monounsaturated fatty acids, Zinc and a lot of other micronutrients.
There are basically two types of oils – Bitter and sweet. Despite its benefits, bitter almond oil is not suited for ingestion but can be safely used for topical applications. The sweet almond oil is flavorsome and beneficial topically as well as when ingested. It also has culinary benefits and can be added directly to food items.
